Firstly, the video we watched about War Game in class was very informative and I learned a lot about the relationships between game and war. There were some players who said that war doesn’t have anything to do with the game. I respect their perspective but I don’t agree with them because that is all cold wars are about. We are getting our revenge on a country through a specific game. Secondly I felt so sorry for the death of that brave guy (Pat Tillman) and I really think that he was and is the hero. He died for his country. But if we are being critical thinkers the embedded media lied to us about the death of Pat Tillman. Since he was shot by his friends the embedded media didn’t want to disclose the army’s secret. I didn’t believe in media before coming to the United States like 50% but now I don’t believe in media 90%. I will give you guys the reason why don’t I believe in media. As I mentioned before I am from Afghanistan and I have worked with the US army back in Afghanistan. Believe me whatever media is portraying about Afghanistan half of that is just a lie! There is a term in media which is “blood leads” which means the more the show war and blood in media the more audience they find. They don’t care about people’s feeling or anything else. The only thing they care about is more audience. For example: Afghanistan is a mountainous country like Colorado, media never shows Afghanistan’s beauty, what they show is only war!
