When I was in Afghanistan two years ago I really didn’t know what a brand meant because no one cares about brand in Afghanistan. They just buy something fashionable or whatever looks good to them. Ever since I have come to the United States I have learned a lot about brands and wasted a lot of money on it too.  I can tell you more than 10 brand’s names that I know and like and I even look for the brand names when I go to shopping. I remember we talked in class about branding that companies plan for 20 years in advance before making a brand. The companies first search the market, they want to know what is markets need and want then they plan to make something and name it a brand. I even read in another article, it mentioned that companies pay money to some certain student to wear their specific brand in school in order to make that brand popular. I was surprised how the companies hunt children buy their staff.  Furthermore I tried to know more about branding, so I found a very funny and true video which is even telling the truth. I really liked this video. I started thinking about it more and more hours after seeing it. I liked the part 1:34 when they say “make the customers surrounded their identity”. When I heard this part it made me laugh and at the same time when I thought about it, it is true companies making their customers surrounded by their identity.
